Los Angeles local and native. I moved to San Diego for college, but my love for LA brought me back in 2007 when I dove into exploring the vast variety of/and culinary culture in the city.
Stoli The Foodie evolved when my passion for food combined with my love for photography and design. Friends would see my foodie photos and began asking for restaurant recommendations. My first question was always “what type of food are you in the mood for?” to guide my suggestions. Voilà! StoliTheFoodie.com was born and I started writing about my foodie finds.
Instead of the traditional review approach to this blog, I create various foodie categories and share my favorite places or overall gems in LA. Peruse places of interest using the categories displayed in the top menu or, for a more comprehensive list, the search/drop down in the side navigation.
My motto is, “Syncopation is the spice of life. Don’t walk… DANCE… and EAT.” With my camera in hand, I am exploring LA one food adventure at a time — seeking unique flavors, ambiance, presentation, any place that’s spicing up the pulse of the LA food scene — on or off the beaten path.
